Case Study

KCH Transportation was poised to expand across the south and west, and recognized they needed a website that would be speak to three very different kinds of users, and be effective for attracting new shippers, recruiting drivers, and finding new team members to work at their their several locations. What they were working with, however, was a first-generation website that was slow, not intuitively designed, had many dead ends, and lacked needed features, like a dynamic map and a multi-channel blog with sections for company news, video, infographics, and content picked up from their social media channels.

Following an in-depth assessment of the site in conjunction with KCH digital marketing team, to learn about their their customers, business requirements and goals, RCDM’s front end design team presented three mockups of what the new site could look like.

Once the winning design was selected, our developers got to work, while KCH wrote and edited the copy, and created the new graphic assets.

Following the top-to-bottom website, tech and systems upgrades, including moving to faster hosting at WP Engine, the new KCH website was on-brand, in sync with its social media presence, and spoke clearly to their audiences.

“Thank you so much, Richard. The new site is amazing!”
