About the Project

As we mentioned earlier OlaWell is a startup company. This means that we had all the freedom but also all the responsibility to create a simple, usable and cross-platform compatible design that will help OlaWell users to better understand their gut microbiome, and provide them with actionable information that can help them to change their food eating habits to improve their gut microbiome balance. There were many design challenges that we had to solve to achieve these goals and create a user interface that will add value to the user experience.

In close cooperation with the client, we developed a graphic user interface for the marketing website and user account portal. To do this we went through an iterative process of designing and reviewing each specific product feature. While designing we followed the main principles of simplicity, functionality and best practices. Usability tests were conducted as well as A/B tests. Based on these information designs has been modified and validated. We still work with the client on further service development and improvement.

Challenges

  • Create packaging design and instructions letter, on how to take a sample, that is easy to understand and follow

  • Give user ability to access to all necessary information related to their order/s status

  • Deliver report information in easy to understand visual representation

  • Give the user easy to understand visual representation of their gut microbiome

  • Give user necessary information on each bacteria type that they have in their gut microbiome

  • Create an easy to understand a way to represent foods that users should eat more or less in the future.

  • Design intuitive and simple visual representation of users’ diet microbiome score that is easy to read and understand.

  • Create the possibility for the user to easily access their report on any device at any time

  • Give an option to the user to create their list of preferred foods, from the “Eat more of these” list of foods which is created based on information from the report on your microbiome score and information about your food habits.

  • Give user actionable information that he can access at any time at any device

  • Give user ability to share their experience/knowledge about OlaWell with their friends and family

Where does the PRO-QCP step in?

PRO-QCP is quality assessment procedure software which helps clients to get their Risk Assessment Report which is mandatory for acquiring the CLIA Certification for their devices in their families. By CLIA Certification rules, each facility and it’s equipment has own device which are used. These devices are usually multiplied over departments and facilities This means that every single facility and department has to have each of their devices CLIA certified individually.
In order to make that possible facilities must generate Risk Assessment Report that is made by Device’s Module which can be bought in PRO-QCP Device Modules Shop for every single device and assigned to it through PRO-QCP client’s dashboard. These modules help facilities to generate reports quickly and achieve CLIA Certification Number. Process is simple it guides user through all necessary things intuitively. Each device Risk Assessment process takes several minutes to be done and generated.

Login

Existing users will be prompted directly to the dashboard from where they can manage locations (facilities and departments), modules etc.

Unregistered users will be required to buy a module and then fill out the registration form with legal details and to setup locations information then will be able to access the dashboard screen and other screens.

Locations

Once user setup an account and log in into dashboard he will be able to manage and add locations (facilities) and departments.

These are the main factor for Risk Assesment Modules which will be registered to specific department and facility and they can be used only once per module.

Modules

User is required to buy module per device which has to be assigned to a specific department and facility. Module can be used once per Device Risk Assessment.

PRO-QCP has integrated shop for modules which is easily accessible for user and once module is bought it will appear in dashboard as unassigned.

Risk Assesment

PRO-QCP integrated Risk Assessment tab for every single module and it starts with Acceptability Matrix compares real results and determines if the risk is acceptable or not.

User fils out forms with noticed risk and their repeating frequency, together with acceptance criteria.

These details are used in generating Risk Assessment Report.

Quality Checklist is addition to report which should confirm all the steps user took to ensure that Risk Assessment is not completed propperly.

Suggestion Report

User can download and print suggestion report which should help him to reduce risk and to improve overall device usage quality in his facilities and departments.

Suggestion reports are printed and then written by hand by directors or HRs personally.
