Grupo Elektra, Latin America’s largest specialty retailer, was experiencing high turnover and challenges training their front line sales force.

RCDM was retained to develop an original game-based training simulation to address these issues. We partnered with retail motivation experts Impact Simulations and developers Muzzy Lane Software, providing overall creative direction and program management to the project.

The resulting “first person seller” game and tournament was well received by sales associates. They often have have idle time when the store isn’t busy and “Elektra Transformacion” provided a constructive outlet for learning and improving sales skills, while competing for recognition and awards with their colleagues across the company.
